Nonlinear systems that usually show chaotic dynamics can be controlled by means of small pertubations, i.e. the previously observed irregular behaviour can be changed to a periodic motion. The numerical control methods are usually limited to a dynamical range of > 1ms. Using fast electronic circuits, we can develop and employ sucessfully control algorithms that can be used for fast systems that are usually encountered in solid state physics applications. Theoretical considerations of these algorithms show us the constraints for succesful control.
